INTRODUCTION

When I think about "snacks," what first come in my mind is the snacks sealed in a plastic package and you can easily find them in a supermarket. What I didn't know was that many Japanese snacks were used to be freshly made as street food.

ILLUSTRATION

On this poster, there are 25 different Japanese snacks/street food illustrations. Each illustration was drawn based on real food.

RECIPES

Underneath each illustration, there is a list of ingredients of what each snacks are made out of. Sometimes, gathering a few ingredients will already make you a delicious homemade Japanese snack!

During Autumn season, Japanese maple tree leaves are spattered all over the streets of Japan. (There's also fried maple leaves snacks in Japan!) For this poster, I want to depict a beautiful night scenery with falling red maple leaves.
